This month were delighted to once again welcome Jane Pugh, the Singing Florist. The club were marking the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with a cream tea for everyone to enjoy before the demonstration, Jane kindly changed her demonstration to echo the Platinum celebration and each of her designs made reference to this. Of course there was plenty of interesting commentary and appropriate songs to complement the arrangements. Her first design represented the Queen’s Corgis. This was followed by one of the Queen’s hats. The next arrangement was The Jubilee Trifle -
The vote of thanks was given by Chris Arter.
The next meeting is on 21st July 2022 when Sandra Gunner’s title will be “Visit to the Movies”. The competition for members will be “Pure Sophistication”.
